まず、様々なオフィスに出向き、顧客ごとの課題を発見し、取り扱い製品導入による、生産性向上に繋がる最適な課題解決案を提案する。その上で、システムの導入、稼働状況の確認とフォロー等、継続的な情報提供を行う。顧客は法人が大半を占めている。受注が決まれば契約書の締結、商品の納入、説明などを行う。
具体的には、オフィスにおける事務の効率化を進めるため、必要に応じて顧客の事務処理の内容・方法を確認し、適切なOA機器の選択の仕方、システム・ネットワークの構築について提案を行い、事務作業の効率化について解かり易く説明を行う。OA機器の設置・稼動後の保守・メンテナンスの方法、OA機器に必要な消耗品について説明を行い、サービス体制について紹介をする。また、顧客の要望にあわせ、デモンストレーションによる実演などを行うこともある。
顧客への販売が成立した場合は、販売契約書の締結、OA機器の納入の手配を行い、OA機器納入後は技術者と連携してOA機器の操作方法などについて説明会を実施する。
